Over two hours, I introduce you to Croix-Rousse as the people of Lyon experience it: a plateau where the silk-weavers once worked, and where the neighbourhood still shops, raises a glass and takes its time. From the butcher to the cheese shop, with a stop at Maison Pralus, you choose and taste local specialities. The walk ends at Cave Tabareau with a wine workshop, where we explore a selection of wines and pair them with the treats you have chosen.

Born in Lyon, I founded The Cellar Guide because I believe wine deserves more than a rushed tasting. After a master's degree in wine in Burgundy, I worked as a sommelier at a renowned restaurant, then headed the wines and spirits department of a major store, before devoting myself to sharing wine and its place at the table. At each of our gatherings, I make sure everyone, from newcomer to keen enthusiast, leaves wanting to learn more.
